Our Story

Jersey Rebel Clothing was founded by entertainer Derrick T. Lewis, whose career in the entertainment industry spans more than 16 years as an actor, recording artist, songwriter, professional wrestling ring announcer, podcaster, and content creator. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Derrick grew up surrounded by music and performance, with both of his parents working in the entertainment industry.

While building his career on stage and screen, Derrick always had a passion for fashion and the desire to create a brand of his own. The idea for Jersey Rebel Clothing first came to life during the global pandemic, when he began designing concepts and creating the original Jersey Rebel logo. After years of developing the vision, the gears officially began turning in May 2025 to launch the brand.

Jersey Rebel Clothing is built on a simple but powerful mission: Authenticity Over Conformity. The brand represents individuality, confidence, and the rebellious spirit of people who refuse to follow the crowd.

The long-term goal is to grow Jersey Rebel Clothing into a global brand while also using the platform to support and bring awareness to important causes.
